Every argument and every piece of evidence on the rest of this site is a side door into one room. This is the room.

What I want to say here is small enough to fit on the back of a receipt and large enough that the rest of my life has not been long enough to absorb it. It is the message that, when I first heard it as a sentence I could actually understand, rearranged everything.

I have tried below to put it in the order I would put it if you were sitting across from me at a kitchen table, and the kettle was going, and you said, okay, tell me what you actually believe.
